What is adapted transport?

The adapted taxi service is a form of public transportation offered to individuals with reduced mobility. It complements the offerings of exo and STM public transit services.

It is designed for:

  • Individuals with one or more significant and persistent limitations that restrict their ability to carry out daily activities
  • Individuals with mobility limitations justifying the use of an adapted transportation

400 trained drivers

More than 400 drivers from the Téo group are qualified and rigorously trained for adapted taxi. Drivers from our different brands ensure your transportation needs are met in full compliance and diligence.

24/7 service

Our in-house planning team works 24/7 for your private transportation reservations and collaborates with STM, STL, EXO, and STAC for requests made through their booking channels, as well as to improve the service offered to you.

Adapted vehicles

Our adapted berlines and vans are available in the Greater Montreal area, Laval, the South Shore and the North Shore.

How much does it cost?

For trips with STM or Exo, please have your Opus card ready.

accompagnement au taxi

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for the Exo or STM adapted taxi service, we can offer you a customized service. In this case, the fare is calculated as follows:

  • Taximeter fare + $8 for a berline (+ extra door-to-door service)
  • Taximeter fare + $16 for a van (+ extra door-to-door service)

When booking, please specify:

  • The physical limitations of the beneficiary
  • The psychological limitations of the beneficiary

To provide tailored and safe transportation for everyone, we need to know the physical and psychological limitations of the transported individuals. The beneficiary's accompanying person is welcomed on board with no extra charge.

Did you know that adapted taxi reservations can be made 24 hours in advance, or even a week in advance? This helps us plan transportation and travel efficiently.

When ordering adapted transport by e-mail, please be as precise as possible (information about the user, the accompanying person, type of journey, type of vehicle required, mobility aids available to the user, the user's physical and psychological limitations, etc.) so that we can best organize the transport.
