Pre-authorizations

Pre-authorizations appear as a transaction in the customer's bank account before the taxi ride. This is a temporary transaction acting as a security deposit which will disappear within a few days.

Why is there an extra charge on my bank account?

Pre-authorization corresponds to a security deposit to ensure that the user of the service has sufficient founds or has the necessary authorization to pay for the cab ride. 

This pre-authorization appears as a transaction in your bank account before your cab ride. Although this amount is generally $25.00, it may vary depending on the distance between the departure and arrival point : the longer the planned cab ride, the higher the security deposit may be.

Will the charge disappear from my account?

The pre-authorization disappears automatically within a few business days, depending on your bank. This transaction is only a temporary amount and is not charged to your credit card. Finally, only the transaction relating to your cab ride will remain.
