My company already has a traditional corporate account with Téo Taxi. How can I obtain the Téo Business mobile solution?

Téo Taxi’s traditional corporate account with the alphanumeric identifier (ex: AB000) only allows you to order on the phone and grants you access to the fleet of Téo Taxi only. Its management and billing method are distinct from the Téo Business mobile solution.

Therefore, you will be prompted to create a Téo Business new account that will allow employees of your company to access the largest taxi fleet in Montreal (Téo Taxi + Taxi Diamond) via the mobile application.

These two products are complementary but the Téo Business mobile solution gives you more options, considering the mobile application access and the combined fleets of Téo Taxi and Taxi Diamond. Moreover, Téo Business is the primary tool for business managers and will effectively suit your needs in terms of taxi expenses centralization.

How to create a Téo Business mobile solution account?

It’s very simple and fast! In just a few clicks, register your company and immediately enjoy the service.

There are two types of action to consider: the account administrator actions and the authorized employees on the account actions.

THE ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR ACTIONS:

  1. From a computer, register your company here
  2. Create your company account by typing your identifier and choosing a confidential password;
  3. Once you are in the Téo Business management console, register a payment mode (credit card);
  4. Inform your employees of your registration to the Téo Business service and share them the tutorial for employees at your disposal;
  5. Add your employees in the Téo Business management console and link them to the payment mode of the company via the appropriate field;
  6. Your management console (for the administrator exclusive use) is available at all time, in self-service here

What are the suggested browsers for an optimal use of the company management console?

The Web console management is more effective if accessed within the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.

Can I handle the management of the Web console from my smartphone?

No. To access your management console, you need to login on a desktop or on a laptop.

Can there be multiple administrators in charge of the management console of my company?

Yes. The initial administrator of the account can designate any employee as an extra administrator from his profile.

What is the maximum number of employees a company can register to its management console?

There is no maximum. You can register as many employees as you wish.

What if an employee is no longer working for my company or if he is away for a lengthy period?

It is very easy.

Select the tab Your employees, in the management console of your company, and remove the concerned employee if he is no longer part of the company.

If the employee is coming back, you are not necessarily required to remove him. You can simply select his personal profile from the Your employees tab’s menu and remove the payment method(s) of your company to which the employee is tied.

In both cases, the payment mode will instantly disappear from his personal Téo Taxi mobile application.

Can the employees of my company access the management Web console of the company?

No. Only the administrator employees of the company’s account are granted the right to access the management console. This console contains all the confidential information of your company such as employees, the payment modes, trip histories, tip adjustments, etc.

Employees have access to the Téo Business mobile service from their smartphones only.

Do the employees have to download any corporative app to access the Téo Business service, mobile solution?

No. The Téo Taxi mobile application of each individual employee will serve as a link to the company’s payment method.

If the employee already has his or her own application, he or she will be invited, via an automatized email, to accept the company’s payment method.

If he or she does not have the Téo Taxi mobile application yet, he or she will then have to download it before being linked by the Téo Business account administrator of the company.

The Téo mobile application can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android).

What is the payment method required to access the Téo Business mobile solution?

The only required payment mode is the credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express) of the company, which will be registered by the account administrator within the management Web console at the employees' disposal.

It should be emphasized that the Téo Business service is secure. Therefore, no confidential information will be available to the employees when linked to their account.

The payment method of the company will be named with the identification of your choice (e.g.: YOUR COMPANY’S NAME).

Can I add multiple payment modes to the management Web console of my company?

Yes. You can add as many payment modes as you wish. However, the credit cards have to be from your company.

Can I adjust the tip percentage assigned to the payment method of my company?

Yes.

You can also, as an administrator of the account, modify this amount at all times from the management Web console of your company. This amount will be applied to all the rides of the employees linked to your company’s payment method.

Is there an option for the employees to justify their ride taken with Téo Business mobile solution?

Yes.

A lot of clients have made that specific request, so we have implemented it to our solution.

Now, with the field provided for this purpose under the Payment modes tab on the management console of your company, you will have the possibility to tick the option while adding the company credit card’s information.

As an administrator of the company’s account, can I receive the receipts of all the ride of each employee?

Yes.

As an administrator of the management console of your company, you are eligible to do so.

You can also demand, upon other direction's requests, that each ride receipt is automatically transmitted through other email addresses that you would have manually registered beforehand, in the Payment modes menu.

How can I have a look at all the rides taken by the employees with the Téo Business mobile solution service?

The management console of your company is accessible by the account administrator of your company, in self-service and at all times.

Under the Rides/History tab, a very detailed consumption report in real time is available to download in CSV format.

When I extract the CSV file, all of my data is displayed in the first column. How can I resolve the reading difficulty of this data?

1. Select the entire first column by clicking on the A tab of the chart.

2. In the menu bar, select DataConvert.

3. Select DefinedNext. Then select CommaEnd

4. Now save the file in the format of your choice.

Can we pre-book a Téo Taxi or a Taxi Diamond with the Téo Business mobile solution?

Although it is part of our objective, the reservation option is not yet available. You will be notified when this option is functional.

With the largest taxi fleet in Montreal, the waiting times are very short. Don’t worry, our vehicles are at your disposal, in the best delay.

With the mobile solution, is it possible to order more than one taxi at a time from the Téo Taxi mobile application?

No. You can only order one Téo Taxi or one Taxi Diamond at a time, through the Téo Taxi mobile application.

With the mobile solution, can I order a taxi for a guest from my Téo Business application?

The Téo Taxi application on your smart phone is yours and under your sole responsibility.

The option to order for a guest does not show on the application.

Taxelco withdraws from all responsibility if you choose to order for someone else. Your assigned driver could deny the passenger’s access, for security reasons, if you are not present at the departure.

What is the coverage area of Téo Taxi and Taxi Diamond?

Téo covers mainly the regulatory A-11 zone located on Montreal’s island (see delimitation below).

We can now pick you up or take you to the extended zone of Greater Montreal (see map below). It is, however, important to note that at least one of the two addresses (departure or destination) must be located in the regulatory zone A-11. In the opposite case, the application won’t process your request as you order.
